Marine Land Tenure Analysis – This project aims to update the coastal marine tenure inventory for Belize, contributing to engaging coastal marine land stakeholders in formulating better policies, plans, practices, and actions for sustainable and climate-smart development.

In order to support stakeholder engagement to foster mangrove protection and restoration, a mangrove restoration strategy workshop was carried out on April 23rd, 2024 in Belize City by WWF. The workshop outcomes will contribute to both the mangrove land tenure assessment and development of the National Mangrove Restoration Plan.
