On May 24th, the annual Reef Fest hosted by Hol Chan Marine Reserve concluded.
This event was initiated to raise community awareness about reef ecology and to support and encourage reef preservation.
The annual Reef Fest spans a week, featuring activities such as creating MPA turtle nesting signs, community cleanups, storytelling, video creation etc.. culminating in an informational fair.
On the 24th, the CRO participated by presenting the Resilience Reef initiative to a diverse audience that included primary school students of all ages, parents, lecturers, booth staff, government representatives, NGO representatives, and even Ozzy the clown!
