On June 7th, the Ministry of Blue Economy and Disaster Risk Management held its ‘2nd Blue Economy Climate Resilience Fair.’
The fair featured booth displays showcasing national and sub-national entities, including non-governmental organizations and initiatives.
Its objectives were to educate and raise awareness on various topics, offer networking opportunities, distribute valuable resources, engage the community, address specific issues, promote services and programs, and facilitate feedback and interactive experiences.
This event provided a platform for individuals, organizations, and service providers to share and gain knowledge, connect, and access useful information and support.
Tara Scarborough ‘’I want to give a big shoutout to my colleagues from the Belize Sustainable Ocean Plan Unit and the Coastal Planning Unit. Their collaboration with the Reef Resilience Initiative Unit resulted in a beautiful, engaging, and informative booth for the fair, proudly representing the Coastal Zone Management Authority & Institute
Great job to all the other booth representatives at the fair!
You all did a fantastic job!’’
